In Need of a Fun and Professional Design for a Finance Dashboard

I am building a dashboard for a client who needs a summary of their costs against their budgeted amount. They start with the most summarized view and then navigate across pages to get more information. I want the report to have an app-like feel, look professional but sleek, and be very intuitive. The target audience are managers at an international mining operation. They need important statistics presented to them quickly. We're not trying to sell them on anything at this point, simply presenting their data back to them.

~This is a dashboard that needs a 3 level colour scale. Traditionally red, yellow, green but others can work as well. As long as there's a way for the user to know "Needs attention now", "Possible concern", "All good". The "All good" could also be no colour. ~I like light themes. Please no dark backgrounds. ~I'd like the dashboard to be easily printable on a standard letter document. As such I'm looking for pages that fit on 8.5"*11" canvas with no scrolling. ~Please no photos. Icons are fine but images are not my favourite ~It needs to be professional but also should have fun colours. ~The colours selected need to work for graphs (bar chart, stacked bars, line graph, pie chart, etc.) ~The template includes the current logo but I'm open to alternatives. Anything that works for a finance department

**Everything outlined below is represented in my basic sketches provided** Header: ~Each page needs a header with the report logo, a dropdown to select their relevant site, and a navigation menu ~Within the navigation menu, I need an icon for "Summary," "Data Matrix," and Budget Consistency. ~Within the navigation menu, there's also 3 navigation buttons for Contact, Help, and Technical. In my mind, these are separate from page navigations but I leave that to the professionals ~Within the navigation menu, there's also the ability to select a time horizon. Only one of the options can be enabled at once. This should be clear to the end user (ex: greying out the other) Summary page: ~This is the first page every user will see upon logging into the dashboard. Therefore it is the most important ~Displayed prominently should be 3 buttons to navigate to Training, Findings/Trends, and Resources. This could be included in the general page navigation if appropriate ~There are then 4 cards displaying four different values. The colour of the card changes based on the targets set. ~There's then a stacked bar chart. This displays costs against budgets. The "All good" colour and "Needs attention now" colour are displayed in this graph as well as a neutral colour showing the budget. There are two toggles on this page which affect only this graph. The first toggles between "Budget" and "Forecast." The second toggles between "Responsibilities" and "Cost Elements." ~There's a line chart on this page as well. Both lines should be a neutral colour. ~Each graphic should have a title Budget Consistency ~A nice looking back button ~A reset icon ~A button to display the settings of the page ~I need a pop-up which is clearly related to the settings button which greys out the rest of the screen and provides the user with a number of checkbox options ~Scatter plot with two shaded areas. These shaded areas are the same as "All good" colour and "Needs attention now" colour except they should be more transparent. ~The scatter plot dots can be any colour and in fact I'd like to have two colours that are distinguishable but work well together. ~Two data cards with the same look as the Summary page ~Two data tables with titles. The data tables don't need to be designed. I am limited to a specific layout with my software Tooltip ~This third page really isn't a page but given the amount of work on this project I thought I'd parse it as a third ~When hovering over different items, this tooltip pops-up and displays relevant statistics. ~The general idea is that there's an easy graph and then a few card displaying numbers. ~I am open to suggestions for the tooltip

This is the first of many projects and the person who helps design this dashbaord can expect many other designs to come down the line (both for this department and others)
